Description
This course will explore the various treatment techniques that are employed by speech pathologists with clients across the lifespan. Scope of practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, the role of nonprofessionals and family members will be discussed. The development of treatment plans giving consideration to age, disorder and behavioral observations will be examined. Observation will be used in conjunction with readings as a basis for class discussion and oral and written assignments.
