College is simply four years of going to classes, homework, exams, and getting a degree - right? Wrong!
College is a very important four years of your life. Make sure you make the most of them.
The Office of Campus Life, in collaboration with the student organizations, seeks to enhance the quality of student life by developing a comprehensive program of social, cultural, spiritual, educational and community service activities which compliment the academic experience.
What you may not have expected are some added benefits that go hand in hand with student leadership. Through first-hand experience in planning programs, you can expect to develop your problem-solving skills and improve your interpersonal communication skills. You will have the opportunity to incorporate classroom learning into real-life experiences and this will benefit you both personally and academically. Involvement in co-curricular activities adds to your resume and shows potential employees you're a well-rounded individual.
As soon as possible, you will want to have a look at the clubs and organizations that are available to you. Visit the Office of Campus Life in the Student Development Center to find out how you can get involved. You can also stop by the Club Activity Day during the beginning of each semester.
We want you to have fun here at Molloy and to be as successful as possible. Our office exists to help you so we encourage you to stop by and visit us in the Student Development Center.
