Description
Students will examine contemporary theories and research on classification, etiology, and treatment of mental and behavioral disorders. Students will review the theory of scientific classification and the basis of DSM-IV-TR assessment classification. Case studies will be reviewed and presented to further enhance student's understanding of psychopathology and the impact of mental disorders on individuals. Current trends in treatment will be discussed.
