Description
This course focuses on physiologic and pathologic mechanisms of disease that serve as a component of the foundation for clinical assessment, decision-making and management. The student is prepared to relate this information toward interpreting changes in normal function that result in symptoms indicative of illness, and in assessing an individual?s response to pharmacologic and other management approaches. Prerequisites - All Core Courses: ETH 505, MAT 550, NUR 505, 510, 515 and 555. Corequisite: NUR 573. (45 lecture hours per semester)
