Writing-Intensive Course
A study of Euclid's Geometry (including selected significant proofs and constructions), Neutral Geometry, Parallel Postulate and Non-Euclidean Geometry, Geometric Transformations, Elliptic and Hyperbolic Geometry. Dynamic geometry software will be utilized to explore the concepts. Prerequisites: Three years of high school mathematics, including Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra 2; passing of the Algebra I Regents Examination; or equivalent. NOTE: Graphing Calculator Required.
