This course explores how TI handheld technology can be incorporated into solving problems in different areas of mathematics. Topics of mathematics include, but are not limited to: algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus and statistics. Further exploration of the calculator includes customizing menu screens, memory and variable management and programming. Prerequisites: Three years of high school mathematics, including Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2; passing of the Algebra 1 Regents Examination; or equivalent. NOTE: Graphing Calculator Required.
