Description
This course will provide teachers/teacher candidates with the conceptual background necessary to assess, diagnose, and evaluate students with disabilities. Participants will survey, and interpret frequently used assessment tools and informal assessment procedures. The assessment process will consider methods of managing student data and recognizing areas of bias. This course will emphasize matching the New York State Learning Standards to frequently used assessment instruments.
