Description
This course provides the student with the necessary foundation to comprehend the complexities of American law. The course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the development of the law in the context of history, sociology, philosophy and politics. Students will be introduced to various legal studies: torts, criminal law, constitutional law, contracts, property, business law, evidence, etc. Fundamentals of case law analysis and statutory interpretation are emphasized.
