Description

This course provides the student with an introduction to the process of the American criminal justice system. It surveys the law enforcement process and the roles of police, prosecuting and defense attorneys, judges, court personnel and correctional staff in the administration of justice. It examines the social values and societal expectations that inform evolving criminal justice concerns.
