Description

A general survey of art from the Renaissance to contemporary times. This course is designed to develop an understanding and appreciation of the visual arts and artists with an emphasis on the origins of well-known styles and eras of Western Art such as Baroque, Neo-Classical, Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, Pop and Contemporary Art. Fulfills General Education Art History requirement. Students who have completed ART 129 may not take this course.
