This course focuses on foundational concepts and skills for computer-based nursing education such as the application of computerized student information systems and educational software used in diverse educational venues including interactive learning resources, clinical simulation, virtual instruction modalities, synchronous and asynchronous communication, distance learning, research and collaboration. 45 lecture hours per semester. Prerequisite or corequisite: NUR 532.
