Independent study in advanced mathematics within the areas of analysis, geometry and/or algebra, or in another area approved by the Chairperson, under the guidance of a member of the mathematics faculty. 1, 2, or 3 credits, commensurate with accomplishment. Prerequisite: Approval of the Chairperson.
