Description
In this course strategies and techniques for teaching Spanish pronunciation will be addressed. Opportunities for expanding knowlege of the various dialects of Spanish will be provided to increase understanding of how the sound system functions and how the sounds of Spanish contrast both physically and conceptually. Practice sessions and exercises will enhance pre-service teachers' ability to relate the sounds of the language to its spelling symbols.
