Description
Student teachers for childhood students with disabilities are required to follow a 20 day full-time teaching schedule in an elementary school under the direct supervison of a cooperating teacher from the field and the college supervisor. This full-time field experience will be in grades 1-3, 4-6. During this student teaching experience, student teachers will utilize video taping, journaling, and portfolioing techniques to promote reflective practices.
