Writing-Intensive Course
This course focuses on teaching Spanish for communicative proficiency. Remedial and enrichment techniques will be discussed. A practical and theoretical framework for foreign language acquisition at the middle and high school level will be presented with special emphasis on lesson planning and teaching strategies. This course also helps to prepare candidates for the edTPA World Language Assessment by analyzing and applying the three tasks: (1) Planning for Instruction and Assessment, (2) Instructing and Engaging Students in Learning and (3) Assessing Student Learning.
